Q: What dates are available?
We maintain an on-line calendar that you can use
to see available/taken dates or you may contact us and we'll be happy to check the calendar for you.
Q: How are reservations set up?
First contact us so that we can get your e-mail address, after which we will e-mail you rental agreement forms (date confirmation, payment info, rules, etc). Once you complete and return the agreement (along with a small security deposit)
we will book your stay by blocking out the desired dates in the calendar.
Q: How is access to the rental provided?
Approximately one-week prior to your arrival date we will mail keys to an address that you will
provide as part of completing the rental agreement paperwork.
Q: How are rental fees paid?
Typically a credit card is used. We will charge your card for 50% of the total amount 60 days prior to your arrival
and the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to your arrival.
Q: Will the security deposit be refunded?
Yes, provided there is no property damage, it is left reasonably clean and all other the terms of the rental agreement are met. Deposits are returned when you return the keys. Last year we refunded all
security deposits without any deductions. Thank-you prior renters . . . you're all welcome back!
Q: What are the terms for refunding paid rental charges?
If you cancel 61 days or more prior to your arrival date we will refund all charges (typically
just the security deposit will have been applied before 61 days). Cancellations within 60 days of your arrival
date are subject to the refund terms described in the rental agreement.
Q: How much parking is available?
The rental has a two car garage and several common-use parking spaces adjacent to the property.
However, parking space can be at a premium at times. You are encouraged to bring as few cars as possible, park vehicles that will not be
frequently needed in less-used common parking lots (but not Heavenlys' lots) that are located in the area, keeping regularly used vehicles
in the garage.
Q: Is there a shuttle service?
Yes. The city operates BlueGo, which stops at two near-by locations, however the locations
may not be close enough for everyone. A round-trip is $10, it goes by at approximately the top of the hour
from ~4:00pm to ~12:00am.
In addition Heavenly operates a Shuttle Service between the Stagecoach lodge the Bolder lodge and the Gondola.
It runs approximately every half-hour.
Q: What kind of shopping is in the area?
The Lake Tahoe area has all the conveniences of modern day life. There are several major grocery stores relatively close.
In the map on the Links / Map page the main shopping areas are shown. The Safeway in
the Bijou area is the newest and largest. We recommend that you start there and use the other stores
as needed for quick trips.
